  A warm and sunny spring day! A perfect pub for an enjoyable lunch in the garden which has plenty of space. The food we ordered (fish and chips) was fresh and cooked well. There​ is a good selection of dishes with specials of 21 day age beef steaks and a fabulous pizza oven. At the bar real ale and guest ales are served alongside​ lagers and other bottled drinks. The staff on the day were polite and helpful with a good balance between being attentive and scarce. All in all a perfect way to spend a long and lazy lunch with an old friend in the English countryside.
